Myra Darlene Burns, 61, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away Thursday September 1, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Myra was born March 1, 1961, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late James David "Sprig" Burns and the late Mary Evelyn Carper Burns. She was a receptionist for many years at Dyersburg Hospital. Myra was a kind and tender hearted person who loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and everyone that met her called her momma.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery.

Survivors include her two daughters Emily Westmoreland of Dyersburg, TN and Hannah Boatright of Dyersburg, TN; one brother, David M. Burns of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Shelia Welch (Jimmy Joe) of Finley, TN and Evelyn Hopper (Richie) of Monticello, AR; five grandchildren John Wyatt, Sophia, Austin, Oliva, and Alex, and her longtime companion, Mike Bell of Dyersburg, TN.

Honoring Darlene as pallbearers will be family and friends.
