Mr. Murray Joseph Seratt, of Bartlett, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at St. Frances Hospital in Memphis.  Murray was born November 16, 1949 to the late Joseph Ora & Alma Faye Seratt.  Murray honorably served in the United States Army as a Ranger & Medic during the VietNam War, earning the Bronze Star Medal for heroism.  He later worked in the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Memphis.  He was a Christian by faith and was a doting father & grandfather, always involved in his families' activities.  In his free time, he enjoyed archery, fishing and hunting trips.

Murray is survived by his wife, Robin Seratt, his sons Mitchell & Corey Seratt, his daughter, Amanda Bannister, his brothers, Harry & Eddie Seratt and sister, Alice Seratt.  He was loved as "Papa" by his children, twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are asked to gather Monday, September 2, 2024 at 1:00 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg for graveside funeral services to be conducted by Mr. Harry Seratt.  Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Murray's family members.
