Mr. Morlon Gene Rushing, of Dyersburg, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at his home.  He was born December 20, 1952 to the late Malcolm & Doris Rushing.  He spent many years supervising maintenance for Colonial Rubber Works in Dyersburg.  He enjoyed working outside at his home and cooking for his family.  He was a man of few words but always had wisdom to share.

Morlon is survived by his daughters, Michelle Rogers and husband, James McCutcheon and Misty Rushing, his brother Bobby Rushing, sisters Joan Jenkins, Joyce Childress & Diane Rushing, his granddaughters, Natalie Langley & Hanna McCuiston and his seven great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Ogden Rushing, his parents and his brother, Paul Rushing.
