Monette Perkins, 66, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at her residence.

Monette was born on October 19, 1953, in Tiptonville, TN, to Kenneth Hickman and the late Ruth Gooch Hickman. She was an insurance agent for Modern Woodmen and used to be an inspector at Dyersburg Fabrics. Monette had many interest including, driving a 18 wheeler, being a beautician and traveling.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.

The Perkins Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel.

Survivors include her three sons, Jason Perkins, Jon Paul Perkins, both of Tiptonville, TN and Jeremy Pierce of Newbern, TN; a step-daughter, Melissa Dycus of Denver, CO; her father, Ken Hickman of Ridgely, TN; her ex-husband, Johnny Perkins of Tiptonville, TN; a sister, Monica Shull (Bob) of Ridgely, TN; a brother, Ken Hickman (Judy) of Dyersburg, TN; and a granddaughter, Natalie Perkins of Tiptonville, TN.

In addition to her mother, Monette was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Miller.

Pallbearers will be Mike Atkins, David Lynn, Kevin Davis, Ed Cranford, Randy Yarbro and Jeremy Pierce. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Irvin and David Hamm.
