Modessa Mcdaniel Daniels' Obituary
Modessa McDaniel Daniels, 85, of Lenox, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse at Parkview Hospital and a member of Three Oaks Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Bettye Dodson and husband, Mike, of Lenox; a son, Edd Daniels, Jr. of Dukedom; a sister, Peggy McDaniel of Martin; six grandchildren, Tony Daniels, Audra Daniels, Samantha Daniels and Felecia Daniels, all of Dyersburg, Jeremy Dodson of Lenox and Karen Spencer of West Memphis, AR; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Daniels, Sr; her parents, Lonnie and Nina Hudson McDaniel; two sisters, Geraldine Wilson and Mary Weimer; and a brother, Bill McDaniel.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
