Mitchell "Mickey" Odell Proctor, Sr., 68, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Mickey was born on February 1, 1951, in Waynesville, GA, to the late Joshua and Louise Brooker Proctor. He was a carpenter for Seaton Construction Company.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Larry Fowlkes and Bro. Jeremy Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The Proctor Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Eddie Mae Proctor of Dyersburg, TN; a daughter, Michell Wilson (David) of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Mitchell Odell Proctor, Jr. of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Shirley Sapp (Davey) of White Oak, GA; a grandson, Brent Wilson (Pam) of Lanesferry, TN; and three grandchildren, Raymond Wilson, Alexis Wilson and Mackenzie Wilson.

In addition to his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by three brothers, J.C. Proctor, Elwood Proctor and W.A. Proctor; a sister, Merilgene Knox; and a great-grandchild, Braxton Allen Wilson.
