Misti Ashley Smith Brewer, 41, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Misti was born on July 4, 1978, in Chicago, IL to the late David and Marsha Jo Ashley. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ridgely. Misti was a 1997 graduate of Lake County High School and had attended Dyersburg State Community College.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Ridgely with the Rev. Barbara Fortune officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, John Brewer of Ridgely, TN; two sons, Mason Smith and Connor Smith, both of Ridgely, TN; her grandmother, Peggy Ashley of Ridgely, TN; a sister, Regina Poyner of Tiptonville, TN; three brothers, Joey Ashley and Tristan Ashley, both of Ridgely, TN and Mike Ashley of Jackson, TN; her four step-children, Zane Brewer of Florida, Kaley Brewer of West Virginia, Andrea Brewer of Evansville, TN and Dendrea Hinson of Owensboro, KY; a niece, Kenzie Hamra, of Tiptonville, TN; and two nephews, Zack Poyner and Seth Bumpus, both of Tiptonville, TN; and her Boston Terrier, Chase.

In addition to her parents, Misti was preceded in death by a daughter, Maddison Smith; her grandfathers, Charles Edward Ashley and David Alan Ashley; and her uncle, Charles Steven Ashley.
