Mildred J. Shipley, 83, of Dyersburg, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville.
She was a retired factory worker for Sylvania and was a member of McCullough Chapel Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Deborah Joan Criswell and husband, Red, and Angie Smith and husband, Kenny, all of Ripley; three sons, Kenneth Shipley of Dyersburg, Dennis Shipley and wife, Shyann, of Germantown and Jeffery Shipley of Ripley; a sister, Ernestine Kilzer of Dyersburg; a brother, Fred Baker of Cape Girardeau, MO; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Algie Shipley; her parents, Ben and Golden Baker; a brother, Benjamin F. Baker; and five sisters, Adele Howard, Frances Naylor, Agnes Gordon, Dorothy Hatch and Marilynn Baker.
Pallbearers will be Brian Shipley, Tyler Shipley, Blake Shipley, Jeremy Shipley, Roger Thompson and Kenny Smith.
