Mildred Louise Samples, 87, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at NHC Murfreesboro.

Mildred was born on September 14, 1934, in Memphis, TN, to the late Hubert Leon Baker and the late Bessie Louise Curtis Baker. She was a retired machine operator with Thomas Industries and enjoyed gardening and working in her yard.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery with Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 9-9:45 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two sisters, Betty Baker of Murfreesboro, TN and Dorothy Baker of Newbern, TN.

In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Lee "Bluebird" Samples; a brother, Bobby Leon Baker; and three sisters, Doris Ann Churchill, Evelyn Hall and Charlotte Taylor.

Honoring Ms. Mildred as pallbearers will be the staff of Dyersburg Funeral Home.
