Mildred Long, 90, of Wynnburg, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Mildred was born on June 10, 1929, in Wynnburg, TN, to the late Tommy and Nell Rhodes Manion. She was a retired employee with the United States Post Office and was also a former school teacher at Keefe and Phillipy Schools. Mildred was a member of Wynnburg Baptist Church. She and her husband loved to travel.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Wynnburg Baptist Church with Bro. Brent Long and Bro. John Troutman officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Long Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Wynnburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two sons, Brent Long (Vicky) of Wynnburg, TN and Michael Long (Lori) of Tiptonville, TN; a sister, Mary Evelyn Bing (Lee) of Hornbeak, TN; two grandchildren, Kelli Blankenship (Ricky) and Megan Long; and two great-grandchildren, Grayson Blankenship and Alaina Long.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Long; and two brothers, John T. Manion and Bryan Manion.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Blankenship, Robert Upchurch, Michael Fulcher, Steve Lane, Norman Rhodes and Travis Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Byrd, Tim Cox and Troy Ferrell.
