Dr. Mike Edward Lemonds, 63, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Mike was born on March 29, 1958, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Marlon and Dorothy Lee Peal Lemonds. He was a physician with Bartlett Internal Medicine Group. Mike was a 1976 graduate of Lake County High School, where he was Valedictorian of his class. In 1980, Mike graduated from U.T. Martin with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He then received his medical degree from U.T. Health Science Center in 1984 and practiced medicine in Memphis for 30 years and was very loved by his patients. Mike loved to travel, was an avid U.T. Vol Fan, and was a member of Ridgely Church of Christ.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Macie Roberson officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The Lemonds Family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his two sisters, Judy Lemonds Jones (Evan) of Tiptonville, TN and Nancy Lemonds Hickey (Mike) of Jackson, TN; a brother, Jerry Lemonds (Elaine) of Harrisburg, IL; and twelve nieces and nephews, Jan Crockett, Angie Elrod, John Lemonds, Jeremy Jones, Katie Jones, Nathan Elrod, Brent Elrod, Lexi Jones, Emma Lemonds, Khloe Ramsey, Mia Reynolds and Judah Lemonds.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hickey, Evan Jones, Jeremy Jones, Nathan Elrod, Brent Elrod and Richard Elrod.
