Michael "Hillbilly" Warden, 57, of Unionville, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired mechanic, member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, restored classic cars and trucks and owned a salvage yard.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Criswell officiating. Burial will be at Woodville Cemetery in Ripley.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his three sons, Bryan Warden and wife, Angie, of Smyrna, Robert Warden and wife, Crystal, and Jeffery Warden, all of Halls; three brothers, Mark Warden of Halls, Carl Warden and Arnold Warden, both of Newbern; three grandchildren, Allie Warden, Preston Michael Warden and Zachory Ryan Warden; his girlfriend, Sandra Boone; and her children, Lynette Seay and husband, Rives, and Brenley Gracyn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Robles Warden; a son, Jason Michael Warden; and his parents, Oscar and Martha Dowdy Warden.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Rogers, Jason Ray, Jerry Freeman, Rives Seay, Derek Magness and Michael Argulio. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie "Fuzzy" Johnson, Joey Freeman and Bobby Flowers.
