Michael Paul Smith, 52, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on June 29, 1966, in Dyersburg, TN, to Linda King Smith and the late Paul Edgar "Sonny" Smith. Michael was an avid wrestling fan and a loyal Jerry Lawler Fan. He grew up in Milltown and never met a stranger. Michael also attended Parrish Chapel Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Hall officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Smith Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Smith of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Sharon Baucom of Dyersburg, TN; his aunt, Freda Baucom of Dyersburg, TN; his uncle, Bernie King and wife, Peggy, of Nashville, TN; two nieces, Stephanie Kissell and husband, Derek, of Ripley, TN and Kasey Paulk of Dyersburg, TN; two great-nieces, Madalyn Davis and Elaina Kissell; and a great-nephew, Jacob Paulk.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Lessie Smith and Roy and Dellar King; his uncle, Ralph Smith; and two nephews, Chris Paulk and Stephan Paulk.

Pallbearers will be Derek Kissell, Jim Thompson, Robert Barker, Andy Butler, Bo Hutchings and Jeff Hill.
