Michael James Schussler, 24, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was an employee of Lowe's in Dyersburg with the electrical department. He was a member of Three Oaks Chapel. Michael was a 2012 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and a 1st year student of the Nursing Program at Dyersburg State Community College. He was a former football player for Bethel University in McKenzie.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Evans officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Townson Schussler of Dyersburg; his parents, Joseph and Wendy Schussler of Greenbrier; four sisters, Rebecca Schussler of Washington, D.C., Sarah Waldrop and husband, Justin, of Springfield, Hannah Schussler and Joanna Schussler, both of Greenbrier; four brothers, Phillip Schussler, Andrew Schussler, Daniel Schussler, and Nathan Schussler, all of Greenbrier; his father and mother-in-law, David and Susan Townson of Dyersburg; two brothers-in-law, David Lynn Townson and wife, Amanda, of Atoka and Joseph Townson and wife, Kerrie, of Dyersburg; three nieces, Erin Townson, Molly Townson and Kloye Terry; and a nephew, Jacob Townson.
Pallbearers will be Alan Castle, Ricky Hendren, Justin Waldrop, Tommy Thornton, Adam Seat and Larry Cantrell.
