Michael Wade Moore, 58, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his residence.

Michael was born in Union City, TN, on December 3, 1961 to the late, Buddy Wade Moore and the late JoAnn Miller Moore. He was the co-owner of Moore & Moore Farms and was a member of Crockett Chapel United Methodist Church. Michael was a former County Commissioner for 28 years and was the former department head of Tiptonville Street Department. He loved his family, animals, Lake County Athletics and the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1993, Michael received the Jaycees Outstanding Young Farmer of The Year Award.

Services will be at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Crockett Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marita Burkeen officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Moore Family will receive visitors from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Markham Moore of Tiptonville, TN; a son, Michael "Mike" Moore II, of Tiptonville, TN; a daughter, Dawana Page (Tim) of Tiptonville, TN; a brother, Buddy Moore II of Jackson, TN; three sisters, Michelle Morgan (Bob) of Tiptonville, TN, Nikki Moore of Jackson, TN and Shannon McCoy of Dyersburg, TN; and his step-mother, Regina Moore of Jackson, TN.

Pallbearers will be Jamey Beal, Nick Staggs, Brandon Hays, Ted Avery, Dennis Chisholm and Mack Markham, Jr.
