Michael Phillip Humphrey, 59, of Bogota, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his residence.

Michael was born on July 12, 1961, in Mt. Carmel, IL, to the late, Phillip and Erma Stewart Humphrey. He was raised in Mt. Carmel, IL, where he was an avid wrestler and he attended Freed-Hardeman University where he met Amy Lay, whom he married in 1982. Mike enjoyed the agriculture life and raising his family on the family farm. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son and a loving grandfather. Michael will forever be loved and missed by all who called him family and friend. He was a farmer and a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Jim Chamblee, Mr. Chuck Morris and Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Humphrey; three sons, Matthew Humphrey (Chloe), Justin Humphrey and Tucker Humphrey; a family friend, "Hogs" T.J. Minley; two sisters, Monica Tompkins (Mike) and Marcia Matthews (David); four grandchildren, Matthew's children are, Layla, Jed and Lenny and Tucker's child is, Gracelyn; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Humphrey, Tucker Humphrey, Kevin "Beaver" Farrow, John Cowling, Robert Coats, Tim Hayse, Bob Grooms, Bill Jones, Scott Earl Johnson, Neill McLaurin and Steve Fowler.
