Melinda Rankin Poole, 55, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Melinda was born on May 23, 1966, in Union City, TN, to the late, Harris and Thelma Evelyn Bargery Rankin. She was a retired Human Resource Analyst for the State of Tennessee. She was a member and the church pianist at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. John Troutman officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Bradford Lee Poole of Tiptonville, TN; a son, Bradley Rankin Poole and wife, Katie, of Loveland, CO; a daughter, Lauren Lee Hopper and husband, Steven, of Huntsville, AL; a brother, Bobby Rankin and wife, Jan, of Union City, TN; and four grandchildren, Jaxon Poole, Memphis Poole, Knox Poole and Reed Hopper.

Pallbearers will be Mike Rohlwing, Joel Estes, Tyler Estes, Cole Estes, Tom Hollowell and Drew Cook.
