Melbia Lois Palmer Fultz, 75, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born on September 23, 1942, in Fayette, AL, to the late Ambers O. Palmer and the late Susan J. Cook Palmer. Melbia was a retired farmer and bookkeeper for Lane Gin Company. She loved gardening and sewing for people over the years. Melbia enjoyed spending time with her two granddaughters.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Rick Crawford officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two sons, Timothy A. Fultz and Sydney E. Fultz and wife, Larenda, all of Dyersburg; two sisters, Mattie L. Harden of Dyersburg and Murrel G. Quinton of Chicago, IL; and two granddaughters, Shelby Leigh Anne Fultz of Easton, PA and Suzanne Brooke Fultz of Dyersburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Fultz; a brother, Thomas Milfred Palmer; and three sisters, Mildred Louise Turnbow, Murtie Jane Tickle and Mary Nell Hardin.
