Obituary

May Bell Clark, 80, of Ridgely, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her residence.

She was a retired employee at The Bridge at Ridgely and attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Ridgely.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Clayton Mahan officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Survivors include her two daughters, Denise Rogers of Vina, AL and Donna Decker of Ridgely; a son, Virgil Clark of Florence, AL; a sister, Hattie Lourine Tucker of Ridgely; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Laverne Clark, Ed Clark, and Sammy Rickman; her parents, Coy and Ida May Davis Smothers; and a brother, Charles Smothers.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Smothers, Eric Wright, Tony Hutcheson, James Hilliard, Johnny Mac Smith and Calvin Smith.
