Maxine Dillahay, 68, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with Jackson Madison County General Hospital, a former employee of Sylvania and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Hickman and Bro. Joe Clendenin officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery in Bruceville.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, John Dillahay of Dyersburg; two daughters, Michelle Long of Dyersburg and Hope Clendenin of Halls; two sons, Dwayne Dillahay of Evansville, IN. and Neal Dillahay of Newbern; her mother, Velma Ownby Palmer of Dyersburg; a brother, Eddie Ownby of Halls; two grandchildren, Colin Clendenin of Halls and Heidi Caldwell of Dyersburg; three step-grandchildren, Rickie A. Long of Searcy, AR., Michael Long of Hornbeak and Jennifer Vaughn of Gates; two great-grandchildren, Madison Caldwell and Mackenzie Caldwell; and one step-great-grandchild, Layla Vaughn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Ownby.
Pallbearers will be Billy Binkley, Rev. Don Layman, Riley Sullivan, Marty Richardson, Jimmy Anderson and Donald Williams.
