Mattie "Pat" Sykes, 77, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was retired as a machine operator for Heckethorn Manufacturing after 28 years and a member of Southside Baptist Church for 55 years.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Loren Stephens and the Rev. Ronnie Wylie officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery in RoEllen.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Sykes of Dyersburg; a daughter, Jesselyn Pierce and husband, David, of Dickson; two stepdaughters, Judy Roberson and husband, Morris, and Linda Whitaker and husband, Larry, all of Newbern; two sons, Buddy Prince of Dickson and Mike Prince of Dyersburg; a stepson, Mark Sykes and wife, Michelle, of Dyersburg; a brother, Floyd French of Louisville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Prince; and her parents, Ollie and Ocie French.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Fisher, David Boswell, Eddie Carter, Shane Davis, Nelson Richards and Chris Sentell.
