Ms. Mattie Faye Rushing Milligan, of Dyersburg, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Dyersburg Health & Rehabilitation. Ms. Faye was born April 19, 1936 to the late Homer & Leoda Rushing. She was a dedicated homemaker and worked for many years at Dyersburg Fabrics. In her freetime she enjoyed singing, gardening and sewing. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny Milligan of Dyersburg and Brian Milligan & wife, Danielle, of Indinapolis, IN; her daughter-in-law, Linda Milligan; her son-in-law, Steve Dronet; and was loved as "Granny or MeMe" by her grand, great and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Charles Edward Milligan; her sons Allen, James and Stephen Milligan; her daughters, Margaret Warren and Janice Jane Dronet; as well as her great-great grandchildren, Joshua Hanks, Blake Haynes and Landon Hughes.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Justin & Lane Crawford, Chase Burns, C.J. Russell, Christian Hanks and Kyle Milligan.
