Mattie Lue Leggett's Obituary
Mattie Lue Leggett, 91, of Dyersburg, died Monday, June 30, 2008 at Dyersburg Manor.
She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Lake County School System and a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Jerry Leggett and wife, Brenda, of Union City, and Bro. Danny Leggett and wife, Eva, of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Tracy Leggett and wife, Melissa, of Union City, Tommy Leggett and wife, Cathy, and Melonie Williams and husband, Randy, all of Memphis; and four great-grandchildren, Shelby Williams, Hannah Williams, Bayle Leggett and Alex Leggett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Leggett; a son, Jackie Joe Leggett; her parents, Dennis and Addie Williams Warren; two sisters, Julie Staggs and Mary Sue Cooper; four brothers, Willie D. Warren, Don Warren, Riley Warren and Marcus Warren; and a great-grandchild, Nickolas Leggett.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Leggett, Tracy Leggett, Randy Williams, Don Westfall, Randy Council and Jason Wilson.
