Matthew Andre' Frey, 66, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at his residence.

Matthew was born on January 9, 1954, in Vincennes, IN, to Joyce Harbin Frey and the late Joseph Frey. He worked for 4 years at IPSCO Steel in Blytheville, AR and had also worked at World Color Press for 22 years. Matthew was a graduate of Rivét High School Class of 1972. From 1999-2008, Matthew served as a band dad at Dyersburg High School, which included popping corn and driving truck equipment to band events. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and was an avid blood donor.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Eastern Time Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Vincennes, IN with Father Tony Ernst officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Frey Family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Jan Frey of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Alexander Frey of Laurel, MD and Steven Frey of Dyersburg, TN; his mother, Joyce Frey of Vincennes, IN; and four brothers, Joe Frey, Alan Frey and Rex Frey and wife, Beth, all of Vincennes, IN and John Frey of Evansville, IN.

In addition to his father, Matthew was preceded in death by a sister, Kitty Frey Deckard.
