Mr. Matthew Thomas "Matt" Dial, of Tiptonville, was born December 2, 1979 and passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at West TN Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.   He was a Lake County Correctional Officer and farmer and had accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Debbie Dial of Tiptonville and Paula Sanders of Dyersburg, a sister, Lora Lee Dial of Samburg, step-brother, Jamie Pounds of North Carolina, step-sisters, Jessica Chappell of Troy and Jennifer Hopper of Hornbeak as well as his niece adn nephew, Lalee Pruitt and Jack Gooch.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford & Inez Dial and Ora Lee Hendrix.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Jason Pate. The family will hold visitation from 11:30 a.m. until services begin.   Pallbearers will be Thomas Dial, Jack Gooch, Andy & Adam Douglas, Tommy Dean and Johnny Minnick.  Interment will follow in Tiptonville City Cemetery.
