Matthew A.E. Bevins, 42, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at his residence.

Matthew was born on September 19, 1981, in Pikeville, KY, to John and Nancy Coyer Bevins. He was a pastor at First Christian Church, was an artist and received a Bachelor's Degree of Arts from Bethel University. Matthew enjoyed playing golf and basketball. He was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and the Cincinnati Bengals. Matthew loved his family dearly and enjoyed cooking for them. He loved to travel and listen to music.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

The Bevins Family will receive visitors from 2-4 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Courtney Collins Bevins; three daughters, Chloe Beth Bevins and Anna Leigh Bevins, both of Dyersburg, TN and Isabella Marie Bevins of Louisville, KY; one son, John Matthew Bevins of Dyersburg, TN; his parents, John and Nancy Bevins of Pikeville, KY; and one brother, Brandon Bevins (Kendra) of Pikeville, KY.
