Obituary

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Warren, of Ridgely, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Signature Healthcare of Ridgely.  She was born November 29, 1963 to the late Rev. Goble Wiggins, Sr. and Brenda Blackley Wiggins and was a life-long resident of Lake County.  Over the years, she worked as a housekeeper for Gray's Camp and also as a store clerk for several local businesses.  She and her family were active with the Phillippy Baptist Church, where she helped teach Sunday School.  Her faith was very important to her as she loved to sing Gospel songs and participate in worship services in the nursing home.  She loved any time spent with the babies in her family.

Mary is survived by her husband, Michael Warren, her son Michael Allen Warren, her brothers Goble Wiggins, Jr. and wife, Mary and Michael Wiggins, her sisters Janet Gillihan and Jennifer Burks and husband, Kyle and was greatly loved as "Nanny" by her granddaughter Kailee Warren and her three great-grand babies.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bobby Wiggins, her sister Theresa Wiggins and a granddaughter Emily Warren.
