Mary Maleita Twyford's Obituary
Mary Maleita Twyford, 58, died December 31, 2015, in a nursing home in California.
She had lived just East of San Francisco with a friend, David Lynn, for the last twelve years. After the divorce of her parents, Maleita spent her earliest years with her grandparents, Wynn and Maleita Smith of Tiptonville. She graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Lindamood Twyford of Jackson; and her father, Robert H. Twyford of Great Falls, Virginia.
Survivors include her half-brother and half-sister in Northern Virginia; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be at the Tiptonville Presbyterian Church, Saturday, February 13, 2016 with visitation at 12:00 noon and funeral at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson, TN. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The Reverend Walter Lockhart will be officiating.
