Mary Janet Smith Ishee, 75, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was born on March 20, 1940 to the late, Guy Fredrick Smith and Viola Blanche Ward Smith in Shelbyville, Illinois. Janet owned Ishee TV Clinic in Decatur, IL with her late husband for 25 years. She then opened William Street Pawn Shop in Decatur, IL and later opened Fast Cash Pawn Shop in Springfield, IL. Janet loved and enjoyed her family.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager, MN. Dyersburg Funeral Home, Dyersburg, TN and Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, Brainerd, MN are in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her children, Brenda L. Ishee Guffey and husband, Lloyd, of Dyersburg, TN, Peggy J. Ishee of Alton, IL, Jeffrey K. Ishee and wife, Dawn, of Stringer, MS, Vonn A. Ishee, Sr. of Decatur, IL, Crasinna K. Hopkins of Collinsville, IL and her son-in-law, Steve Hopkins of Laplace, IL; a sister, S. Marlene Fabley of Decatur, IL; her brother, David E. Smith of Oreana, IL; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Benton Ishee from Mississippi; and a sister, Donna Mentzer from Arthur, IL.
