Mary Olene Simpson's Obituary
Mary Olene Simpson, 71, of Alamo, died Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was a retired distributor for Towncraft Cookware, and a member of Maury City First Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Alton Simpson of Alamo; two daughters, Mary Lemons and Robin Hunt, both of Martin; three step-daughters, Jane Hyde, Joan Huey, and Tina Bell, all of Dyersburg; three sisters, Sue Englehart of Tupelo, MS., Peggy Davis of Trenton, and Ruth Reagan of Dyersburg; three brothers, Tommy Hughes and Doug Hughes, both of Dyersburg, and Terry Hughes of Selmer; two grandchildren, Joshua Lemons and Melissa Hunt; and eleven step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy C. and Sudie Holloway Hughes; and a step-son, Ernest A. Simpson, Jr.
