Mary Loraine Seratt's Obituary
Mary Loraine Seratt, 88, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
She was a homemaker, a former member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and a member of Dyersburg Army Air Base Memorial Association.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Tilly officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her three daughters, Nina Wolfe of Germantown, Pat Higdon of Halls and Judy Jones of Newbern; four sisters, Laverne McRee, Johnnie Sue Vickers, Wynona Wharey and LouEtta Brown; three brothers, Franklin Cathey, George Cathey and Edsel Cathey; four grandchildren, Jeff Jones, Carey Holsinger, Michelle Wolfe and George Burns; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John O. Seratt; and her parents, Major and Lacey Rivers Cathey.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Higdon, George French, Ronnie Wolfe, George Burns, Jeff Jones and Ian Burns.
The family requests that memorials may be directed to the Dyersburg Army Air Base Memorial Association at 100 Veterans Drive in Halls, TN 38040.
