Ms. Mary Jane Frazier Rice, of Dyersburg, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at her residence.  She was born July 9, 1935 near Friendship, Tn to the late John & Janie Frazier.  Mary Jane was a long-time member of Phillips Street Church of Christ in Dyersburg.  There she was in charge of the benevolence and holiday food basket programs as well as providing elder-care in our community.  She is fondly remembered for her special touches as a cake and dessert baker.

She is survived by her son, Dennis S. Rice, her daughter, Cynthia D. Kittrell & husband, Richard, her granddaughter, Jami Manley & husband, James and her great-grandchildren, Mason & Mallie Manley.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William "Bill" Rice and a brother, Billy Frazier.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.  Friends and family are invited to gather at 12:15.

The family ask that, in place of flowers, memorials be directed to the ministries of Phillips Street Church of Christ in Dyersburg.
