Mary Sue Ramey, 91, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on July 5, 1931, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, James Thomas Hart and the late Zilphia Melvinia Hart. Mary was a retired LPN for Dr. Fred Moore, Sr. She loved to read, travel and doing crafts.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Westmoreland of Dyersburg, TN; her daughter-in-law, Melba Anderson of Newbern, TN; a sister, Alma Jean Alexander of Paris, TN; a brother, Joseph Hart of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Cary Sims and Christy Deal; and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Austin, Brittney Deal and Abby Deal.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ramey; a son, Raymond Anderson; a sister, Lavenia Sollis; and four brothers, Otis Hart, Norris Hart, Howell Hart and James Hart, Jr.
