Mary Elizabeth Markham, 90, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.

She was born on November 15, 1927, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Ivor Lafont Allen and the late Ola Mae Taylor Allen. Mrs. Mary was a retired employee from Dyersburg Fabrics. After retiring from "The Mill", she went on to work at Wal-Mart as a door greeter for almost 25 years. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Markham will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Markham Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her four sons, Bill Markham (Julie), Donald Markham (Sharon), Jack Markham and Jim Miller, all of Dyersburg; ten grandchildren, Vanessa Davis (Dave), Stephanie Rogers (Ricky), Josh Markham, Brad Markham, Dustin Markham (Terri), Amber Chism (Branden), Autumn Markham, Kasi Martinez (Luis), Greg Burns and David Burns; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Markham; a brother, Thomas Allen; and an infant sister, Charlene Allen.

Pallbearers will be Bill Markham, Donald Markham, Jack Markham, Dustin Markham, Brad Markham and Ray Markham.
