Mrs. Mary Evelyn Hyde, of Tiptonville, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Reelfoot Manor in Tiptonville.  She was born April 21, 1945 in Trimble, TN to the late Dewey & Nora Thomason.  She was a devoted homemaker and care-giver all through-out her life.  She and her husband, Harold Ray Hyde were members of Phillippy Baptist Church and loved spending time with their neighbors in the community.

She is survived by her son, James Hyde, her grandson, Andrew Hyde and a brother, Rex Thomason.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Hyde, her son, Jerry Ray Hyde, her brothers, James, Roger & A.J. Thomason and sister, Eva Jean Thomason.

Visitation will begin at Noon on January 2, 2023 at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel, with funeral services at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in Tiptonville City Cemetery.  Thomas Sanderson, Richard Hayes, Daniel Hayes and James Daniel will be honored, serving as pallbearers.
