Mary Frances Anderson, 88, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Oakwood Community Living Center.

She was born on December 19, 1929, in Finley, TN, to the late Willie Vaughn Arnold and the late Ora Ruth Reaves Arnold. Mary was a retired employee from Colonial Rubber and was a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ. Her hobbies were sewing, knitting and refinishing furniture. Mary crocheted items for the British Royal Family infants, which made national television and print news. She did this from her nursing home bed.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Andy Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Anderson Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Anderson and wife, Penny, of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Paul Anderson and wife, Valarie, of Medina and Mark Anderson and wife, Kym, of Dyersburg; four great-grandchildren, Madalynn Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Ethan McClellan Anderson and Sarah Grace Anderson; and a brother, John Tilford Arnold of Obion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Anderson; and a brother, Wendell Vaughn Arnold.
