Mrs. Mary Ann Fortner, age 79, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020, at Oakwood Community Living Center.  She was born March 18, 1941, to the late Samuel and Catherine Alvino Agresta.  She was a housewife and former employee at Alvino's Pizza. She attended Free Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband Charles Fortner, two daughters Karen Ford, of California, and Jenifer Pastre, of Valdosta, Ga.; her son Jeffery Herzig of Pittsburg, Pa.  She is also survived by two step-daughters, Renee Busse, Dyersburg Tn. and Tabitha Rice of Cookville, Tn.; and three step-sons Jason Fortner, San Antonio, Tx., Christopher Fortner, Nashville, Tn., and Clinton Fortner, of Fulton, Mo.  She also leaves a sister JoAnn Deprizo of Chicago, Il. and two brothers Tony Agresta and Joseph Agresta, both of Dyersburg, Tn.  She leaves several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Wayne K Herzig.

Private Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Any memorials may be made to the Dyersburg Salvation Army.
