Mary Jane Farley, 76, of Perryville, MO, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at her residence.

Mary Jane was born on February 21, 1947, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Emanuel Park Farley and Stella Julia Sudika Farley. She was a retired teacher with Dyersburg State Community College. Mary Jane taught reading for 23 years at DSCC and also taught in several schools in Missouri from kindergarten thru college. She was a lover of all kinds of animals, especially her horses, cats, birds, mule and her dog. Mary Jane was a past member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Dyersburg.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2023 at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Patrick Hirtz officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her twin sister, Kathleen Hubenschmidt (Joseph) of Marthasville, MO; four nephews, John Hubenschmidt of St. Louis, MO, Matthew Hubenschmidt of Ironwood, MI, James Hubenschmidt of Cleveland, OH and Mark Hubenschmidt of Walnut Creek, CA; and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Terrance Farley, Joseph Hubenschmidt, John Hubenschmidt, Matthew Hubenschmidt, James Hubenschmidt and Mark Hubenschmidt.
