Mary Sue Carter, 89, of Dyersburg, died Friday, April 24, 2009 at Baptist Hospital-East in Memphis.
She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church, where she served as secretary for the Junior Department of Sunday School for 50 years, and a member of Summer Hill Garden Club.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. David Willard officiating.
The family will receive visitors at 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Kirk Avison and husband, Dick, of Olive Branch, Miss.; a son, Carey F. "Buddy" Inlow Jr. and wife, Marsha, of Kennesaw, Ga.; two grandchildren, Carter Kirk and wife, Jodi, of Olive Branch, Miss. and Jennifer Merryman and husband, Jeff, of Knoxville; and three great-grandchildren, Kayla and Daniel Merryman of Knoxville and Jackson Kirk of Olive Branch, Miss.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
