Mrs. Mary John Arcera, age 90, of West Layfayette, In. formerly of Dyersburg, Tn. passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17 , 2019, at Cumberland Point Health Campus, in West Layfayette, In.  Mary was a retired factory worker and a member of Springhill Baptist Church. She was born March 27, 1929.

She is survived by one son, Jim Hayes (Marsha) of Rochester, Indiana; Two daughters, Louise Grubbs (Anthony) of Madisonville, TN, Loretta Hruska (Anthony) of Willowbrook IL; one brother, Frank Cook of North Las Vegas, Nevada; Three sisters, May Hocking of Henderson, Nevada, Barbara McIntosh of Dyersburg; and ten grandchildren, Mark Hayes (Cindy), Eric Hayes, Patrick Hayes (Nicole), Stephanie Ritter (Jared), Kimberly Perez, Anthony Hruska, Matthew Hruska (Becky), James Grubbs, Joseph Grubbs (Kelly), David Grubbs (Liona) and Ashelie Hayes  (wife of the late Jason Hayes)

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Joseph Arcera; her parents, John & Allie Goad Cook; four brothers, Roger, Glen, Joe & James Cook; two sisters, Lagrette Campbell and Billie Sue Warden; one grandson Jason Hayes; and one granddaughter-in-law, Talena Grubbs.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mary John Arcera will be Saturday at 3pm September 21, at Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation for Mrs. Mary will be from 1:30 pm until funeral time at 3pm.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The Salvation Army.
