Mary Helen Allen's Obituary
Mary Helen Allen, 80, of Tiptonville, formerly of Caruthersville, Mo., died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Ridgely Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Crockett's Chapel Methodist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home - Tiptonville Chapel with the Rev. Marita Burkeen officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens in Tiptonville.
The family will receive visitors from 11a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Tiptonville chapel.
Survivors include her husband, John F. Allen of Tiptonville; two daughters, Sherry Michie of The Woodlands, Texas, and Terry Coppage of Braggadocio, Mo.; a son, Kenneth Allen of Memphis; her stepmother, Mattie Magers of Caruthersville, Mo.; six grandchildren, Todd Coppage, Colby Coppage, Alexis Michie, Daniel Allen, Scott Michie and Paul Michie; and a great-grandchild, Statyn Coppage.
She was preceded in death by her father, W.C. Magers.
Pallbearers will be George Michie, Todd Coppage, Paul Michie, Colby Coppage, Scott Michie and Daniel Allen.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
