Marvin Lay "Sonny" Broglin, 75, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Sonny was born on September 25, 1946, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late, William and Myra Lay Broglin. He was a self-employed insurance agent and was a member of Tiptonville Presbyterian Church. Sonny was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Martin and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021 at New Haven Cemetery with Mr. Carl Mills officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Broglin of Tiptonville, TN; a son, Todd Broglin and wife, Selena, of Tiptonville, TN; a daughter, Tobi Callens and husband, Karl, of Tiptonville, TN; four grandchildren, Kera Mills, Allie Snyder, Kristin Broglin and Leigha Broglin; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia McCormack and Hudson Snyder.

Pallbearers will be Keaton McCormack, Garrett Coburn, Stephen Mills, Claude Salmon and Greg Story.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
