Marvin Wesley Lynch, 79, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Harborview Healthsystem of Dyersburg.

Marvin was born on November 26, 1941, in Ridgely, TN, to the late, John and Jessie Sales Lynch. He was a retired security guard for Murray Guard and also worked several years for Turner Dairy. Marvin attended Faithway Baptist Church in Troy and was also a Mason. He was also a big wrestling fan.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors starting at 11 a.m. until service time.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, whom he married on December 7, 1963, Wanda Faye Lynch of Dyersburg, TN; two daughters, Carol Faye Cunningham and Sandra Phillips, both of Dyersburg, TN; two brothers, Tommy Lynch of Hornbeak, TN and Billy Lynch of Obion, TN; four grandchildren, John Sanderson, Britney Crews (Michael II), Angel Cunningham and Megan Buckingham (Casey); five great-grandchildren, Lillian Buckingham, Alleigh Crews, Benjamin Buckingham, Wesley Crews and Saraiya Crews; and one on the way, Sofia Orduna.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by a brother, David Lynch.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Mrs. Wanda Lynch.
