Marty Ray Davis' Obituary
Marty Ray Davis, 47, of Dyersburg, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at his residence.
He was a maintenance supervisor for Dyersburg City School System, member of Mid-South Riders and former member of Civil Air Patrol.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Middle School Commons with the Rev. Clyde Thompson and Rev. Tony Gant officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Hill Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Davis of Dyersburg; three daughters, Amanda Veteto and husband, Ryan, Allison Davis and Christina Davis, all of Dyersburg; a son, Adam Davis of Dyersburg; his parents, James Ray and Barbara Gail Davis of Millsfield; a sister, Tammy De La Garza of Racine, WI.; and a brother, Jimmy Davis of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sophia Rae Davis Elmore.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Veteto, T.J. Grooms, Mark Weichlein, Steve Littlejohn, Tony Capps and Dean Collins. Honorary pallbearer will be Scott Phillips.
