Martha McDearmon, 88, of Maryville, TN, went to her heavenly home on January 31, 2022 at Asbury Place in Maryville, TN.

Martha was born on September 14, 1934, in Newbern, TN, to the late Hamlet Charlie Moore and Minnie Edna Boldan. She retired from Cooks Pest Control in Decatur, AL as a Customer Service Representative before she relocated in 2011 to Maryville, TN. In 1972 Mrs. McDearmon and family moved back to Dyersburg from Illinois, for many years where she worked at First Citizens Bank as a teller until moving back to Illinois.

Mrs. McDearmon enjoyed reading, taking long walks and spending time with family. She loved being around people, laughing and enjoying life. She was known for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and pretty blue eyes.

Mrs. McDearmon was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie R. McDearmon; her son, Johnnie Kenneth McDearmon; a grandson, Dillon McDearmon; and a sister, Margie Bernice Brown.

Services will be held at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Visitation for the family and friends will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with services immediately following. Burial will follow after service at Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. McDearmon is survived by her daughter, Joan E. Bennett (Jerry); daughter-in-law, Debbie McDearmon; a sister, Vadie Beautone Howton; three grandchildren, Christy Davis (Tige), Jeremy J. Bennett (Jhonny) and Matthew J. Bennett (Tabitha); seven great-grandchildren, Caitlin Muston, Rachel Davis, Destiny McDearmon, Peyton Davis, Damion McDearmon, Jeffrey McDearmon and Daniel J. Bennett; five great-great-grandchildren, Timothy Muston, Ayden Dotson, Gracelyn Knowles, Willow Muston, Hensley Knowles; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
