Martha Jean Langston's Obituary
Martha Jean Langston, 78, of Dyersburg, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
She was born on February 22, 1939 in Booneville, MS, to the late William Henry Augdon and the late Mirtie Bynam Cartwright Augdon. Martha was a homemaker and a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Deal and the Rev. James Combs officiating. Burial will be in Sorrells Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Robin Cloar of Pensacola, FL and Becky Maness of Newbern; two sons, Barry Maness of Newbern and Scott Langston and wife, Brandy, of Dyersburg; and five grandchildren, Caiytlin Magsig, Holly Cloar, Hayden Robles, Leah Langston and Malee Sue Langston.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Judy Mullins, Lora Jean Winchester and Pat Williams; and a brother, Bill Augdon.
Pallbearers will be James Chism, Hayden Robles, William Augdon, Jerry Freeman, Tony Owens and Lanny Tidwell. Honorary pallbearer will be Russell Chism.
