Martha Ann Sweatt Hill, 79, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at her son's residence in Adamsville, TN.

Martha was born on September 26, 1943, in Dyer County, TN, to the late, Howard and Callie Sue Anderson Sweatt. She was a homemaker, a former employee of Sylvania and worked for the Dyer County School System as a bus driver and aide with special education children. When she was able, she attended the Independent Free Holiness Church.

Services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Dennis Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Hill (Liz) of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Teresa Porter (Malcolm) of Lenox, Tn; her brother, Billy Ray Sweat (Sharon) of Friendship, TN; six grandchildren, Hillary Ann Christian, Joshua Seth Johnson, Kayla LeeAnn Webster, Christopher Powers, James Daniel Powers and Alissa Shea Powers; her great-grandchildren, Skyler Powers, J.J. Powers, Elijah Powers, Bryan Powers, Remmington Powers, Hudson Webster, Stetson Webster and Paisley Webster; two grand dogs; and a grand cat.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Dale C. Hill; and a daughter, Carla Sue Hill.

Pallbearers will be Chris Powers, Vick Burns, Josh Johnson, Malcolm Porter, James Powers and Burless Davis.
