Martha Sue Hayes' Obituary
Martha Sue Hayes, 76, of Tiptonville, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on December 18, 1940 in Greenfield, Mississippi, to the late, Lloyd Dunn and the late Donna Fitzgerald Dunn. Martha was a retired employee for Northwest Correctional Facility, where she worked for 15 years.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Staggs officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.
The Hayes Family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Tiwana Decker and Faye Hayes, both of Tiptonville; a son, Stoney Hayes of Tiptonville; a sister, Geneva Jones of Tiptonville; two brothers, David Dunn of Tiptonville and Gene Dunn of Kenton; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie "Pop" Hayes.
Pallbearers will be Hulen Rhodes, Eric Savers, Stevie Crawford, Zachary Rudd, Mike Jones, Ricky Gamble, Austin Sneed and David Jeffrey.
