Martha C. Allen's Obituary
Martha C. Allen, 86, of Crossville, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, TN passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Cumberland House Hospice in Crossville, TN.
She was born on June 22, 1930 in Newbern, TN, to the late Joe Spencer and the late Verla Mable Ellis Spencer. Martha was a retired employee for Thomas Industries. She also attended Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Fairfield.
Graveside services were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Mr. Rick Crawford officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
The family received visitors from 10-11:15 Monday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Williams and husband, Jack, of Fairfield Glade, TN; a son, Robert A. Carter and wife, Treasa, of Dyer, TN; two grandchildren, Sabrina Pruett and James Flores; and four great-grandchildren, Garret Pruett, Cameren Pruett, J.C. Flores and Celina Flores.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Allen; and two sons, Billy Carter and Larry Joe Carter.
