Marshall E. Lee, 77, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Marshall was born on May 7, 1943, in Wynnburg, TN, to the late Jessie and Geneva Burton Lee. He was a retired chief for the City of Ridgely Police Department and was a school bus driver for over 30 years. Marshall was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church and was a Mason. He and his grandson were avid fishermen.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 at Calvary Independent Baptist Church with Bro. Carl Southerland officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 at Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bettye Lee of Ridgely, TN; two daughters, Marsha Palmer (Ricky Wyatt) and Dana Martin (Alan), all of Ridgely, TN; two sisters, Doris Price of Joliet, IL and Bonnie Tippit of Ridgely, TN; seven grandchildren, Michael O'Guin, Jr., Kirk Palmer, Anna Mahan, Jeremiah Palmer, Madelyn O'Guin, Drake Palmer and Macy Martin; eight great-grandchildren; and his beloved boxer, Maggie.

Pallbearers will be Kirk Palmer, Jeremiah Palmer, Michael O'Guin, Jr., Nathan Mahan, Doug Robertson and Terry Pierce. Honorary pallbearer will be Rodney Roberson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
